iTIM Online Administrative and Support System

this is an online portal with resources such as books, white board videos and courses to equip saints and involve them in mission

we introduce iTIM-Online to the local pastors and Bible school principals to help them with itim study so that they can be certified as GSLs (Group Study leaders).

Benefits of iTIM-Online:

  1. Students can access all reading materials online which include reading documents and white board videos that help in the smooth learning of the students
  2. Students can sit for their exams online and submit them for grading
  3. Students can do group study online led by their GSLs by doing so they are able to exchange their ideas on the topic they are discussing
  4. Trainers are able to monitor their student’s performance and each course

iTIM Resources:

iTIM has courses that can help equip Gods people in the local Churches so that they can serve effectively in church ministry:

our plan is to make sure every believer can be involved in effective ministry and serve effectively not only to sit in church and listen to the pastor preaching (watching performance).

We want every Christian believer to do discipleship and our Lord Jesus Christ commanded by doing so we will be fulfilling the great commission.

The iTIM Curriculum:

iTIM provides a curriculum of 18 courses in five ministry areas, or tracks which will help you “make disciples” and multiply ministry in your church

Leaders Guides are available for 12 of these courses. By means of a 4-day seminar, Pastors will be equipped to use those resources.

iTIM Leader’s Certification Process

The updated iTIM Lead Leader certification process is detailed below:

Challenges Facing the iTIM- Online Program in Africa

  1. Most of the local Pastors don’t have good education, they need to be trained in IT knowledge
  2. They don’t have much computer/smart phone knowledge that making it difficult for them to do online training/study
  3. Most of them are deep rooted in the tradition way of preaching and they are not ready to embrace change of discipleship
  4. Most of them are poor hence they can’t access the equipment that can enable them to access online training and studies
  5. Kenya/Africa is not very developed and hence internet connection is not available in all regions hence making it difficult for some of them to do the online study

iTIM Online Progress:

one month after the 4th full- seminar on 2nd to 5th October 2022 we have over 40 members on iTIM online and they are all in process of completing the iTIM leadership seminar assignment so they can be intern GSLs and lead group study in their church and seminaries.

At the moment 3 of them have already completed the assignment and their assignments are on the process of being graded by our certified trainers

Currently we had 40 out of 334 participants who attended our iTIM seminars have registered on the online portal. Hopely 300 hundreds can get registered online by the end of 2022. They will attend iTIM discipleship and lead others to do discipleship.

Future Plan

In 2023 we plan to have at least 3 seminars in different regions so that we are able to get more people to use iTIM in their church or seminaries, which will promote discipleship in Kenya and the African region in general.

For iTIM leaders and trainers who have passed the certification, we will also organize further training to improve their equipment and skills in scattered mission and discipleship group leadership.

We plan to work with Churches, regions directors or seminaries Principals that are willing to use iTIM study, such as St Paul’s University, Narok Bible College, KBTC and etc.

We have put in place the goal of 100 people to be certified as GSLs-CDM’s assistant missionaries in Africa and get 600 church members participants in the iTIM discipleship under the leadership of our missionaries by the end of 2023.
